As a straight white male in my late thirties, it is very important that other people know what I think. For generations, this has meant shouting out of upper-storey windows at passers-by or invading distant countries to tell the inhabitants my opinions on things, but thanks to the wonders of technology, I can piss my mind into the ether for it to be harvested by data-centres and train the next generation of AI models from the comfort of the spare room.

I, of course, kid.

The Pebble Inspector Podcast will be my weekly reflection on my writing experience, acting as a journal and sounding board. I will recap what I have written (or not written) that week, how I feel about it, how it came about and where I see it going next. I will read extracts of work in progress and also talk about some of what I’ve been reading that week. A distillation or snapshot of my creative practice that may be of interest or use to others but is primarily a deposit for my own thoughts and processes to reflect on later.

It will be available direct via this website plus most major streaming sites such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts and whatever it is Google uses.
