The Act Of Figuring It Out

After over a decade masquerading as a marketing type and before that attempting to be a geologist, I quit it all to pursue whatever this is.

I work in short-form fiction, life writing, essay and what I have to admit, despite my best efforts, is something close to poetry.

To this end I enrolled on the Creative Writing and Literature Studies MA at Lancaster University.

I have had pieces published in Flash, the MA Anthology and presented work at the Errant/OOP Symposium. I have also been published within the outdoor industry press but we don’t talk about that.

My work is rooted in the material. I often work in hybrid forms but always with dirt beneath my nails.
